Do I own or officially rename a star?

No. All dedications are symbolic entries in a private gift registry. We do not confer ownership, scientific recognition, or official astronomical naming rights.

Are the stars and coordinates real?

Yes. Astronomical identifiers, coordinates, and apparent magnitude come from the HYG v4.1 catalog. We do not guarantee that a star is visible to the naked eye or from a particular city.

Why do the prices differ?

The proposed collections differ in design, personalization, and service level, not in astronomical naming rights. First Light is planned as USD 100 converted to ETB, while Crown is ETB 250,000. Exchange-rate approval is required before launch.

Can I pay now?

Checkout is through Chapa when approved pricing and payment setup are complete. The studio indicates availability and test mode. Card and wallet details are entered on Chapa, not on this site.

Are the sample dedications actual customers?

No. Demo dedications and reservations are fictional, clearly labeled examples. Production inventory excludes their sold or held states.

Can I keep my dedication private?

Yes. Private is the default. Order details are never published automatically. Future publication requires a separate consent check after actual fulfillment.

Can I download a certificate?

You can use Print → Save as PDF in the personalization studio to save a watermarked preview. After verified payment, your private order page provides the issued PDF with a barcode and public verification link. Test certificates are clearly marked.
